Sales pitch

I love this car. I have had it for about 1500 kms and it is strong and consistent. There are no surprises to me since I have driven this car for more than just a small test drive.

The condition is very good but there are some points to be aware of in the condition section below.

The 4 door is rare in Canada and this is a 5speed which is very hard to find for a good condition 4 door. Only about 30% of the Impul R33Rs were 5 speed

The engine puts out 250ps in stock form but the exhaust and intake might bump that up to 260-ish. If you want more, the boost controller can get you up to about 300 if run at 1.0 bar. People in Skyline forums say that 1.1 is the limit for the ceramic turbo but the internals can take it.

The car pulls good before boost and it comes on at about 3500 rpm. Once boosting, it pulls very hard.

If you buy this you will be the first person in Canada to own an R33-R. There are three in Australia that I know of, and through searching, no other countries have these imported yet. I have never seen one with lower kms than this (63,000).

The Impul version due to the light weight wheels, exhaust, and sets weights in at 50kg less than stock.

Impul put most of their efforts in improving the handling and it performs well. The LSD is tight and the lateral grip with those wide tires is awesome.

The bottom of the car has no rust and the engine bay has no rust on the back panel or the suspension struts.

The car has a service record for these years -
1994 - 1,345km
1995 - 5,060km
1995 - 6,996km
1996 - 9,063km
1997 - 13,673km
1998 - 19,352km
1999 - 24,789km
2000 - 38,778km
2001 - 46,732km
2003 - 52,457km
2005 - 56,325km
2007 - 59,014km

The vehicle has had three owners including myself.
First owner - 1994 - November 1998
Second owner - November 1998 - April 2010
Myself - April 2010 - Present

Exterior

First the worst part.
The front bumper needs to be replaced. On my first day driving it I went to park the car and the front bumper was pushed in by a brick designed to stop the tires in the parking spot. This did not damage any other part after inspecting.

The car has some various body parts that could use some help.
The drivers side fender was repainted and the paint has some small bubbles where the new paint did not stick due to poor prep work.

The passenger side rear door has four smallish dents all together that form a dent area.

There are paint chips in various parts of the side skirts and rear bumper. they are less than half a mm each.

The fiberglass spoiler and garnish have slightly warped over time similar to how the old stingrays do. It is very slight.

The wheels have small scrapes

There are buff-able scratches in some parts

The hood has a 2mm chip that was hand repaired by the old owner

Interior

The seats are excellent except the Impul stitching has worn off badly. I thought this meant that the odometer was rolled back but after driving a while they got worse. The stitching is brittle due to age. I would just take it out. The driver seat has a crease in it but it is very light and you can't feel it with your hand.

The interior panels have all been replaced with used ones of good quality. Including-
Power window controller
Shift surround
Shift boot and ebrake boot
Dash panel

I don't know if anyone here knows but the shift boots and dash surface on R33s do not hold up to wear after 15 years.

The AC works and all electronics work except for the motor that closes the rear view mirrors, they can be moved manually if needed.

The CD player should be replaced since CDs skip but you were going to do that anyway since Japanese decks cannot use NA radio.

Interior fabric is pretty clean and in good shape.

The shift knob should be replaced but I was going to do that anyway so I will throw that in.

The vehicle was smoked in but the car does not smell like it. Instead it smalls like it has been sitting for a while. I have not shampooed the fabrics but I will before shipping.

The interior has a plaque on the ash tray stating Impul R33R number 103 so your friends can see how cool you are (The engine bay also has this).

The trunk has some stains in the fabric and the card insert is slightly deformed.

The HVAC light has burnt out...

No rust in the trunk

Mechanical

The gas strut on the trunk are dead... I hate these...

It is low kms so there is really nothing wrong here.

The intake makes a very loud sound when driving fast. You can hear the turbo spool and pshhhh!

The clutch is really good.

The engine idles consistently and starts every time with no fuss.

I have not done tuneup parts like plugs and wires.

The tranny could use some new gear oil in it but what 15 year old car doesn't. It is a touch notchy going into third but in my experience the syncho has much life. When I drive, I have to be careless to shift in a way that I notice anything at all. I am probably just being picky.

The electric fan makes a weird chirping noise when turning off... ??? WD40?

You will have to pay for shipping to your country and import duty.

I am willing to do any work on this car for free labour and no markup on parts (within reason, I am not going to spend 3 months to put $20,000 into it).

I recommend that you have the front bumper fixed in Japan. I have asked the shop I use but was told that he can't say for sure since he doesn't know how much a bumper costs. He figured about 80,000 - 100,000 yen to have it mounted and painted.

I will update pics once I take some. For now just see these ones.
I will also up the translated auction sheet and I have km history proof if needed.

This is a truly rare and awesome car. it is in good condition with low kms. It is fast and handles well while looking good. definitely not your average Skyline. It comes with signed authentication of number 103 by Kazuyoshi Hoshino, Nissan's ex test driver and Director of Impul.

What the car looks like without a broken bumper

I have posted this on forums and classifieds so if you fall in love with this car then pick it up quick. I am looking for a quick sale so I posted it below what I have seen previous versions sell for in Australia.
